Day 1 - Opening up: Forgiveness and Acceptance

I'm so excited that you're here and we'll dive deep right in the beginning already, let's go!

Make sure to watch the video above to hear all the details about opening up, forgiving yourself and others and accepting all that has happened, accepting all parts of you (especially those you don't like) and how love heals.

Awakening and the start of transformation can happen within seconds when we're open and willing to change.

Questions for inquiry

Make sure to take some time to go deep within yourself and be brutally honest with yourself! This is for you, nobody else. The deeper you go, the more will be revealed to you ❤️

  • Do I fully love myself?

  • Do I allow myself to feel love and loved?

  • Do I allow others to love me?

  • Do I allow myself to receive love?

  • Do I allow myself to give love?

  • Do I allow myself to be vulnerable with myself and others?

  • What am I afraid will happen if I love myself fully?

  • What am I afraid will happen if I allow someone else to love me fully?

  • What is holding me back from forgiving that situation / person / myself? (Insert your own personal story)

  • How do I feel right now? How would I feel if I fully forgave them / myself?

  • What am I afraid will happen if I fully accepted all parts of me? Especially those that I wish didn’t exist (e.g. your insecurities, your fears, your past hurt etc.)

  • What am I afraid will happen if I fully accepted and forgave my past and released the past hurt within me?

  • How would I feel if I saw everything as my teacher and didn't judge it?

Journal prompts and Affirmations

Journal prompts and affirmations help you reprogram your mind and nervous system by repeating them over and over again. Make sure that you've done the inner work (e.g. honestly answered the questions above) and then start using these affirmations.

How to use them: Write all or those that you resonate with the most down while journaling. Repeat them to yourself throughout the day (for example while showering, waiting in line, washing. dishes etc.).

  • I feel safe within myself.

  • I am safe and protected.

  • I am open to what life has in store for me.

  • I accept my resistance.

  • I am grateful for my resistance, for it is trying to protect me.

  • I allow myself to open up.

  • I allow myself to feel love.

  • I allow myself to love myself.

  • I allow love to come to me.

  • I am open to receive love.

  • I am worthy of love.

  • I love myself.

  • I love others.

  • I forgive myself.

  • I forgive all that has hurt me in the past.

  • I forgive all those that have hurt me in the past.

  • I forgive myself for hurting myself in the past.

  • I trust that I am exactly where I’m meant to be.

  • I am grateful for my life.

  • I am grateful for everything I have experienced for it has made me to who I am today.

  • I am open to all that comes to me.

Other tips for opening your heart

  • Massage your chest / breast (it's the portal to your heart).

  • Open your chest during meditation and throughout the day.

  • Journal about what you want to forgive and what is hard for you to accept. Go deep and ask yourself why that is the case. Where is it coming from?

  • Again, be brutally honest with yourself. AND be loving and compassionate by not judging what you discover, it is all here FOR you. For you to learn and grow from and experience.

Meditation

Now let us drop into your heart. Find a comfortable place to sit or lay down. Stretch your body, circle your joints and move your body the way it feels called. Whenever you have the need to move during the meditation, please do so!  

Movement personally helps me to go even deeper into meditation. 

Whatever you're feeling is good. It all needs to come up in order to be released. So if many emotions arise, let them come up and let them move through your body. Breathe into the emotions and then release them by not getting attached to the emotions. You are okay. You are safe and protected. Everything happens for you.

Set an intention (e.g. my intention is to open my heart, to forgive what is weighing me down etc.) and let's begin.

I recommend turning up the volume for the mediation below.

Written version of the meditation above.

Find a comfortable place to sit or lay down and slowly start focusing on your breath. Inhale slowly, deeply and controlled through your nose and exhale fully trough your mouth. Find a rhythm that feels natural to you! 

With every exhale, release the tension you might be holding in your neck, shoulders, back and jaw. 

Allow yourself to fully exhale what is no longer serving you. 

Now place both of your hands and your attention on your heart.

Breath into your heart and feel how your heart is beating. 

Drop even deeper into your heart and feel the pain that your heart is feeling. 

What messages is your heart giving you? 

What is your heart telling you? 

Repeat after me: 

I am loved.

I am worthy of love.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

I am love.

I am the love I’ve always wanted to receive. 

I accept all parts of myself. 

I love all parts of myself.

I am grateful for all parts of myself. 

I forgive myself. 

I am grateful for myself

I love myself.

Slowly place your attention back to your breathing, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. 

Welcome back. 

You are safe and protected. And you are loved.
