Somatic Healing and the Mind-Body Connection

Our Body holds our emotions, energies, old pain and trauma in the physical cells and different parts in our body.

Our body / nervous system gives our brain impulses about how we feel & what we desire.

Oftentimes when our mind is running in loops it‘s a sign that there‘s a bigger feeling / sensation that you need to look at in the body.

If you postpone feeling your emotions or intellectualise them instead of feeling them, over & over again…

You disconnect more & more from your body.

Your mind & body become more separate, screaming at each other for attention by getting louder with self-criticism, physical pain, migraines, feeling stuck, lost or helpless…

There‘s a reason why we say we heal from within.

When we are connected with our Bodies + Hearts, life often feels „easier“, like things are happening by itself.

Your connection with your Heart & Body isn‘t just optional anymore.

If we want to feel our best, feel vibrant, alive & love + trust ourselves we absolutely need to prioritise ourselves.

*BEFORE shit hits the fan*

There‘s a lot of simple, easy tools you can integrate into your daily life that don‘t need more than 5 minutes.

Some of my favourites are:

💎 Deep breath into your belly + exhale loudly. (Everywhere you are, throughout the day)

💎 Touching my body with intention, attention + love. (Sometimes just a quick touch, sometimes a loving 5 min massage)

💎 Moving my Body through opening my hips, circling my upper body, doing different sensual movements.

💎 When I‘m outside, I‘m outside. No staring on my phone. Actually looking at the environment around me, smelling the fresh air, listening to nature, feeling my feet in the ground.

There‘s so many more that I‘ll be sharing in my upcoming SOMATICS + SENSUAL MOVEMENT WORKSHOP in Zurich on 7th January 2023 💎🌹
